This Plaza Inn could not be more conveniently located to downtown Ashland, It’s within very easy walking distance to the Shakespeare Festival theaters. The hotel grounds are delightful. There’s a nice deck adjacent to the breakfast area. Adjacent to the lower level is a garden area just above Ashland Creek, and graced with the soothing sounds of a lovely fountain. One afternoon we watched a doe and her fawns gamboling on the small lawn. Additionally, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We felt quite comfortable at the Plaza Inn and plan to return.
The people here went above and beyond to make my stay great! The room was clean, had plenty of space, and if I needed something I was able to get it. It's close to downtown and within walking distance of so much! I definitely recommend this hotel.
This was the first time I travelled with a pet. They were very accommodating to pet owners. You stay in a separate, smaller building with close access to walkways and grass alongside. The room was clean, large, and with a small porch. Located at one end of the main street, very walkable to the park, food and shops.
